About East Links

East Links Family Park is a 20 acre small farm, which provides a fun and safe environment for families to enjoy a day out. We celebrated our 1,000,000th customer in 2015 and have grown to become the premier visitor attraction in our market place, being voted for by the public as Best Visitor Attraction in Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife 2011 and 2016 in the Radio Forth Awards and Best Family Attraction 2014 by Primary Times.

East Links is regarded as one of the finest school visit destinations in the country and is bringing the ‘classroom to the countryside’ for over 3,500 school children per week in peak months providing a fun, safe educational environment to learn about farming. We have over 2,000 family members now and also offer Corporate Memberships which at the moment include such prestigious entries as ‘Scottish Police’ and ‘Scottish Power’.

Where are we?

We are near Dunbar in East Lothian, within one hour travelling from Edinburgh or Berwick-upon-Tweed.Β  Visit here for address and location map.

Is the park wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the pathways around the park are gravel chipped and there are ramps into all the buildings. We also have a ramp for access onto the train. Free electric wheelchair and scooters are available for customer use (phone to book).

Is it just for kids?

Our park is a FAMILY day out, where the adults can have as much fun as the children.

Is there a cafe?

Our cafe provides soups, hot rolls, snacks, drinks and cakes. It is also open to the public if you just want to pop in for some refreshments without visiting the park. We also have picnic tables and a picnic barn if you wish to bring your own food.

Do we have to pay for extra activities?

All activities are included in the entrance price except seasonal pony rides which are £1.00.

50p tokens are also available for animal feed and crazy golf balls

Are there Seasonal Activities?

Pony rides are available for a few hours each day and run from April until October at weekends and holidays (weather dependant). Bottle feeding of young animals will also take place in the Spring-phone for details.

Do you allow dogs in the park?

We have dog kennels free for use in the car park. They cannot be brought into the park due to the livestock but your entrance ticket allows you to go back and forward to the car/kennel.
